StreetsLA

In 2019, the City of Los Angeles put out an RFP looking for firms to modernize their bus shelters and provide citizens with important amenities—most notably: shade. I worked on Intersection’s response—providing graphic design, layout work and copy editing while also coordinating print production and art directing our super awesome architecture partner.

Inspired by the understandably important mission to provide Angelenos with shade, I designed the response around the sun—creating a motif around gradients using colors sampled from actual LA sunsets and sunrises with time stamps.

While Intersection missed out on the opportunity in the end, we were praised for the thoughtfulness and caliber of design in our response.
